A'an Suryana earns a Ph.D. at Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Australia. Routledge, an imprint of Taylor and Francis Group, the world’s largest academic book publisher, publishes his book titled: The State and Religious Violence in Indonesia: Minority Faiths and Vigilantism. This book is based on his dissertation. He has also published in some reputable international journals, including Asian Studies Review and South East Asia Research. He recently served as a research consultant for the Washington-based international non-government organization [NGO], Search for Common Ground. At SGPP, he teaches: 1. Critical Thinking and Academic Writing [as area head]; and 2. Bargaining, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution [as co-lecturer].
