Curriculum Detail
Overview
Public policy involves complex interactions of many elements: translating ideas into workable programs; making decisions for program design and operation; communicating with both constituencies and affected decision-makers; overcoming the resistance of bureaucrats; and assessing and evaluating implementation results. In relation to that, this course also aims to give the students a comprehensive view on public policy planning, implementation, and evaluation, including the importance of budgeting and risk management.
